PART III: AFTER THE UNSEALING OF THE BLACK MAGE

Chapter 6: Secret of Magatia

• An Alliance member traveled to Magatia, where they learned that the town of alchemists was divided into two warring factions - the traditionalist Zenumists, who believed in pure life alchemy, and the maverick Alcadno, who incorporated technology into their research.

• While learning more about both societies, the traveler learned about an incident which had taken place several years ago, which had resulted in the disappearance of the famous Alcadno scientist, Dr. De Lang, and the rupture of the Magic Pentacle supporting the city from underground.

• As both societies were covering up the truth, the Alliance member began to research more about Dr. De Lang and discovered that he had been attempting to extend his own life after fearing that he would die long before his fairy wife, Phyllia, and their half-fairy daughter. As a result, he had soon stumbled across a mysterious laboratory deep beneath Magatia, which had once belonged to the Black Mage himself.

• After learning that the Black Mage's forbidden research was the foundation for modern-day alchemy in Magatia, Dr. De Lang - despite knowing that the Black Mage was an evil being - had used his life alchemy research for an experiment to extend his own lifespan.

• Having discovered the secret of Magatia, the Alliance member traveled to the Black Mage's laboratory and helped the alchemists repair the broken Magic Pentacle that sustained the city.

• With Magatia safe once again, the Alliance member continued investigating Dr. De Lang's fate and learned that his experiment had resulted in him being transformed into the mechanical Humanoid A, successfully extending his lifespan at the cost of losing his humanity and his memories of his wife and daughter.
